Egypt Education Platform is thrilled to announce an opening for a KS1 Homeroom Teacher for the academic year 2026-2027 at our esteemed school, GEMS British International School in Madinaty. We are looking for a motivated educator who is passionate about fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for our Key Stage 1 students, instilling a love for learning and providing a strong foundation for their educational journey. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that align with the national curriculum for Key Stage 1. Assess, monitor, and document student progress, providing constructive feedback to support individual student growth. Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and social interaction. Encourage parental involvement in their child’s education through effective communication and regular updates on progress. Collaborate with other educators and staff to develop integrated curriculum plans that enhance the overall learning experience. Participate in professional development opportunities and stay informed about best practices in education. Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field. Hold a recognized teaching qualification (e.g., QTS or equivalent). Minimum 2 years of teaching experience within a KS1 setting. Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies for young learners. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create an inclusive and supportive environment for all students. Enthusiastic and creative approach to teaching and learning.
