The Role:

  • Position: KS1 or KS2 Class Teacher
  • Location: Bury, Greater Manchester
  • Contract: Full-time (from September)
  • Suitable for: ECTs and experienced teachers alike

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the KS1 or KS2 curriculum
  • Plan engaging, well-structured learning based on prior attainment and pupil needs
  • Utilise effective formative assessment to drive progress
  • Promote a positive, inclusive classroom environment through excellent behaviour management
  • Collaborate with colleagues as part of a supportive, forward-thinking team
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and its values-led culture

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A strong grasp of the KS1 and/or KS2 curriculum
  • Confidence in using assessment to inform teaching
  • A passion for creating inclusive, engaging learning environments
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach to school life and CPD
