About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and inspiring KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Hertsmere. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to nurture a love of learning in pupils, helping them build strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and personal development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
  • Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND and EAL.
  • Assess and track pupil progress, providing feedback to ensure every child makes good progress.
  • Create a positive and stimulating learning environment where pupils feel valued and supported.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to enhance the learning journey.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extra-curricular activities and shared responsibilities.

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience teaching in KS1 is desirable but not essential for the right candidate.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A reflective, motivated, and creative practitioner.
  • Commitment to the safeguarding and wellbeing of all pupils.

Pay: £180.00-£240.00 per day
