We’re looking for a passionate and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Key Stage 2 pupil at a welcoming primary school in Newport.

Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday, term-time only)

Pay: Competitive daily rate based on experience

YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

• Providing 1:1 support for a KS2 pupil, helping them stay engaged, focused, and included in class activities
• Supporting learning across the curriculum under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO
• Encouraging positive behaviour, social skills, and emotional wellbeing
• Adapting resources and activities to suit the child’s needs
• Building a strong, supportive relationship with the pupil, the teaching team, and the wider school community
