Egypt Education Platform is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Homeroom Teacher to join our team at GEMS British International School Cairo for the academic year 2026-2027. Key Responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that adhere to the British Curriculum for Year 4 students. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners and promote individual growth. Monitor and evaluate student performance, providing timely feedback and support to enhance their educational experience. Establish a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and mutual respect. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress and engaging them in the educational process. Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to develop a cohesive and integrated approach to student learning. Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities to continue enhancing instructional practices. Support students' social and emotional development, fostering positive behavior and resilience The successful applicants will have the following: A strong passion for teaching and a commitment to providing an exceptional educational experience for students. Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field. A minimum of 2 years of experience teaching in a primary school setting. A valid teaching certification/license from your home country. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team. Aspirations to create engaging and inclusive classroom environments that accommodate diverse learning styles.
