Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Wembley. This role involves providing 1:1 support for SEN pupils, both inside and outside the classroom, helping them access learning and make progress across the curriculum.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work on a 1:1 basis with SEN pupils in a KS2 setting
  • Provide tailored support to meet individual learning and social needs
  • Assist pupils both inside and outside the classroom, encouraging independence and engagement
  • Implement personalised strategies in collaboration with teachers and the SENCO
  • Promote positive behaviour, confidence, and inclusion
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure consistent support
