EM Tuition is a non-profit provider of training and tuition and has historically supported disadvantaged children, whether at school or with their homes.
We are working alongside Suffolk County Council, providing support for children and young people with barriers to learning and also provide tuition as part of the National Tutoring Programme within schools.
We are currently looking for Teachers/Tutors who have experience of working with children who have Autism, ADHD, emotional dysregulation and other barriers to education. The children struggle, for a number of reasons, with mainstream schooling and have been allocated tutoring at home.
The ideal candidates would have experience of working with children who have Special Educational Needs, medical and/or Emotional and Social barriers to learning. In particular, we would like child-centred staff who would be able to provide consistency for children, who require patience, trusting relationships and access to the curriculum at a level and pace that meets their needs.
The roles are flexible, with varying days and hours, and are gauged to provide the best outcomes for the children and work around your availability. This could be for as little as 5 hours a week up to 30, dependant on your availability. In addition, we are able to work around school hours and so can accommodate those who have school age children..
