The purpose of this fellowship is to: Improve end-of-life care education for resident doctors through simulation and interactive training. Enhance team communication and prescribing practices in palliative care. Address cultural challenges in end-of-life care. Embed sustainable education initiatives within the Trusts medical training programmes.
Develop the fellows leadership, education, and research skills, supporting future career progression. The post is designed to be a stepping stone for doctors considering a career in palliative medicine, medical education, or leadership roles within healthcare. To develop leadership capability; skills and knowledge in the project topic and to support non-clinical professional development. You will be sponsored to complete the Post Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Leadership and Commissioning at Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS) as an integral part of the role .
Fellows will be supported to network and collaborate with colleagues on the programme from different professional backgrounds and across geographical communities in KSS to enhance learning and developments
