The Institute of Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering (AME) at Coventry University, is the UK’s ‘First Faculty on the Factory Floor’, where you have access to the latest innovations in research and training in digital manufacturing and user-centred design. Together with Duck Tours (Seahorse Amphibious Vehicles) you will be applying this innovation to develop the latest generation of amphibious vehicles at their manufacturing location in Slough.
As KTP Associate you will be developing a user-centred approach to capture the experience of tour operators and their passengers of an electric amphibious vehicle in the waterway tour business and to embed these requirements in a digital design which is fully embedded within Duck Tours agile production environment. This will require development of process plans, specifications and embedding them in digital product lifecycle management system.
You will work primarily at the main Duck Tours production facility in Slough, with occasional travel to Coventry University as well as Duck Tours customer sites.
