JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an energetic and organized individual who loves working with children. The Math & Reading Center Assistant is responsible for assisting the Kumon Instructor in the overall running of the center including working with students K-12 online and in-person, assignment correction, and preparing/organizing assignments for class.
Position: Kumon Math & Reading Center Assistant
Salary: $15.80 / hour
Availability: Monday and Wednesday: 3:30pm-7:30pm and maybe an occasional Saturday

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to demonstrate a strong MATH and READING aptitude by writing a test in-person at the center
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with adults and children, especially children in elementary and middle school
• Excellent written and public speaking skills
• Commitment to making a difference in the community and a strong belief in the importance of education
• Ability to work all shifts listed
