People Responsibility: No Reports To: KYC Operations Manager The purpose of this role is to ensure that transactions are processed accurately and that transactions are passed without defects. The job holder may be required to process the opening or existing customer from initial instruction via any channel and to amend, cancel or close existing products or services and/or the administration of products. This includes Client due diligence on-boarding checks as defined by the Global Standards Programme. May process ongoing or remediation activity relating to Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Know Your Customer (KYC) checks. In addition, the job holder may be required to provide FATCA/CRS data capture, remediation, periodic monitoring and independent quality assurance services to xLoB and involved in manual update and exception handling of source system data in CTCR reporting tool during annual FATCA/CRS reporting. The job holder will also be required to comply with controls and the need to be able to demonstrate compliance and controls, to maintain HSBC internal standards, including timely implement on internal & external audit points together with any issues raised by regulators, to implement the Group Policy, to award of the operational risk associated with their roles, and to ensure all actions during their employments with HSBC take account of the likelihood of operational risk occurring. University Graduate or above. Banking operation knowledge. Excellent English spoken and written communication skills. Works well in a team, proactive, and willing to learn. Ability to work well under pressure with high degree of accuracy. Familiar with banking procedures, such as SOP, DIM, operation systems. Sufficient internal control regulations & knowledge. Sufficient MS office and well communication skill. Prior financial crime on KYC/CDD related knowledge/experience a plus.
