L&D RN at Fort Irwin Department: L&D RN at Fort Irwin Employment Type: Contract Location: San Bernardino County, California Description Requirements Degree: BSN or approved AND (Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing program and accredited community college, junior college, college, university approved by the appropriate State agency and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed by the applicant: The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Experience: One year of registered nurse experience after graduation in the required specialty requested. **MUST have 1 year of L&D RN experience within the past 2 years. Licensure: Current, full, active and unrestricted license as a registered nurse (RN). Certification: Must maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Life Support (ALS)/Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)/Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) as needed per specialty request. The American Heart Association or American Red Cross are the only accepted Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers accepted. Failure to comply with this will result in non-compliance.
