Description

We are seeking a skilled (LI) Engineer with expertise in Cisco and Palo Alto technologies to design, implement, and manage interception solutions in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements. This role involves deep technical knowledge of networking, security systems, and compliance protocols, working closely with internal security teams and law enforcement agencies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in network engineering or security roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco (e.g., IOS, ASA, Firepower) and Palo Alto Networks (e.g., NGFW, Panorama).
  • In-depth knowledge of network traffic analysis, port mirroring, and packet capture.
  • Familiarity with LI standards and protocols (e.g., ETSI HI1/HI2/HI3, CALEA).
  • Experience with tools like Wireshark, tcpdump, and security monitoring platforms.
  • Understanding of IP networking, VPNs, GRE/IPSec tunnels, NAT, and routing.
Responsibilities
  • Design and deploy lawful interception solutions across Cisco and Palo Alto network infrastructure.
  • Configure routers, switches, and firewalls to capture and mirror traffic for lawful access.
  • Integrate and manage LI mediation devices and ensure data is delivered to LEAs securely and reliably.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot LI systems to maintain high availability and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with regional and international LI regulations (e.g., ETSI, CALEA).
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and law enforcement teams to support active intercept warrants.
  • Maintain documentation of all interception configurations, policies, and procedures.
  • Respond to audits and inspections related to LI systems and practices.
  • Assist in incident response and forensic analysis as required.
