L2 Individual Account Manager Urbandale, Iowa- Hybrid Overview of the position: We are currently looking to add to our team an exciting opportunity as an Individual L2 Account Manager. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Take lead information from clients and answer general questions. * Assist clients with pre-enrollment, post-enrollment and claim questions/issues. * Research and respond to L2 agent questions in a timely manner. * Assist with scheduling client appointments. * Check status of applications and send confirmation to agent and client. * General customer service. * Research new insurance products. * Help implement new software/technology as needed. * Order new client materials including ID cards. * Submit applications using best method for the carrier (online, fax, email). Education and/or Experience: * Bachelor’s degree is preferred or the recognized equivalent in education and experience, required * Health Insurance License within 60 days of hire * Minimum 2 years’ experience working in the insurance industry Technology Skills: * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) * High comfort level with Excel * Comfortable learning new software/technology as needed Other Qualifications: * Detail-orientated * Thorough understanding of complex group insurance terms, products, and strategies. * Ability to contribute to a collaborative environment by consistently demonstrating a positive attitude and effort in order to achieve goals and objectives * Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication, including the ability to actively listen and problem solve with minimal assistance * Attention to detail and commitment to a high level of accuracy * Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and work in a fast-paced environment * Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
