Overview L2 IT Technician Location: Remagen Duration: 3 month project based role Role Overview The IT Technician plays a critical role in supporting the successful implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) ERP across the organization. This position provides hands-on, on-site support in the lead-up to the system go-live, ensuring readiness across teams, processes, and systems. Following go-live, the technician remains a key resource during the two-month hypercare phase, offering immediate troubleshooting, issue resolution, and user support to stabilize operations and ensure a smooth transition to the new ERP environment. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities Setting up label printers, MFPs, handheld scanners and tablets with D365 configuration Working closely with the D365 Technical Leads and the Global IT Workplace team to identify and resolve issues during the D365 rollout Providing general end-user support for approximately 40 on-site users, including business users and production staff in manufacturing Qualifications Requirements Proven experience as an IT Technician, IT Support Specialist, or similar role Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting Hands-on experience supporting ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), is an advantage Solid understanding of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and general IT infrastructure Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and basic server administration Strong communication skills with the ability to support non-technical users in a clear and professional manner Morgan Advanced Materials is an EEO/AA/M/W/D/V Employer Ind-1 Morgan Advanced Materials is a business rich in history and innovation.
