QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field required
• 1–3 years of laboratory experience in a quality control or analytical chemistry environment
• Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation, especially HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis, and titration systems
• Strong understanding of chemical safety and good laboratory practices
• Excellent attention to detail, data accuracy, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
• Experience with LIMS or electronic data capture systems is a plus
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

• Conduct chemical and physical testing using techniques such as titration, spectroscopy (UV/Vis, IR), chromatography (GC, HPLC), and wet chemistry
• Analyze samples and interpret data to ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory standards
• Accurately document all results and observations in laboratory notebooks, reports, and LIMS systems
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment
• Prepare reagents, standards, and test solutions as needed
• Participate in method development, validation, and optimization initiatives
• Review and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and test methods
• Identify and report deviations, non-conformances, and out-of-specification results
• Ensure all activities are conducted following GMP, GLP, and other relevant quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment
• Assist in training junior analysts or technicians when necessary
