MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:

Due to continued success and growth, we are looking to a Lab Analyst Assistant to join our team.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• To provide analytical support for a wide variety of internal and external customers.
• To assist in the operation of process plant, should the need arise, to ensure continuous operation of site processes whilst at the same time working to the highest health & safety and housekeeping standards.
• Sampling & testing a range of waste materials.
• Quality Assurance & Control.
• Liaise directly with Site Chemist, Technical Radiation Manager, Environmental Waste Manager and Site Manager.
• Carry out any necessary chemical analysis required by the business e.g. Gamma Spectroscopy, hydrocarbon content analysis, monitoring of air, soil and site effluent quality.
