We are currently looking for a Lab Analyst to join our growing team!

JOB SUMMARY

You will be joining a team to perform duties and experiments as required and outlined in SOPs and maintain cleaning and logs for the laboratory. Follow quality standards for sample testing process, documentation, and ensure all activities comply with cGMPs, GLP, 21 CFR, ICH, Monograph, ISO and FDA regulations and guidelines.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of a Baccalaureate Degree is required; concentration in Biological or Chemical Science is desirable.
  • One (1) year of experience in the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, or related field is preferred.
  • Must have a general working knowledge of 21 CFR, USP/NF, EP, JP, AOAC, ICH, GxP, cGMP, cGLP and/or ISO standards and guidelines.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively and solve complex problems.
  • Must be able to lift and move heavy items in the laboratory (glassware, solvent bottles, equipment, etc.).
  • Must be able to work efficiently under pressure and successfully function in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a general working knowledge of how to access, input and retrieve information using a computer.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Adhere to established laboratory safety practices.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare test solutions and reagents for sample analysis.
  • Work under the supervision of a Supervisor/Manager or tenured Chemist for all laboratory tasks.
  • Conduct routine analysis of samples as assigned, and compile data for documentation of test procedures.
  • Ensure quality compliance, regulatory standards, and good manufacturing practices are followed within each task.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation per SOP’s as required for sample testing.
  • Ensure all areas are cleaned after use as per SOP’s, GMP and GLP.
  • Act with impartiality and work in accordance with the company policies, regulations and SOP’s.
  • Act in a way to not be influenced by particular perspectives, value judgments, community bias, or personal interests that could compromise impartiality.
  • Communicate possible impartiality risks to management from the Chemistry Laboratory operations to Quality Assurance and/or Management.
  • Receive a satisfactory evaluation of job performance.
  • Work with all personnel in the laboratory.
  • Work primarily in a laboratory environment with the appropriate PPE for hazardous solvents and follow established laboratory safety practices.
