THE ROLE: LABORATORY ASSISTANT Job Responsibilities: Load samples in hematology, coagulation, chemistry, and urinalysis Call critical results Perform instrument maintenance under the supervision of the laboratory supervisor Archive and retrieve samples Perform inventory Unpack stock and maintain department supplies as needed Requirements High School diploma or equivalent Prior laboratory, phlebotomy or medical office experience required Word processing and spreadsheet skills preferred Detail oriented Mon-Fri: 7am-6pm availability (shifts discussed during interview) Eligible F/T employees receive paid time off, holiday pay, and basic life insurance; they may also enroll in our voluntary programs for: medical, dental, life, disability; and 401(k) plans after the waiting period.
