JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support various laboratory functions, ensuring compliance with established protocols and contributing to scientific research efforts. QUALIFICATIONS

• A background in scientific research or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with veterinary terminology is a plus.
• Knowledge of laboratory procedures and techniques, including microbiology and histology.
• Understanding of FDA regulations related to laboratory practices.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in basic math skills for data calculations and analysis.

  Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends

• Assist in conducting experiments and research projects under the supervision of senior laboratory staff.
• Prepare and maintain laboratory samples, reagents, and solutions according to established protocols.
• Perform routine laboratory procedures including microbiological assays, histological preparations, and quality control tests.
• Maintain accurate records of experiments, observations, and results in compliance with FDA regulations.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the laboratory environment, adhering to safety standards and best practices.
• Utilize mathematical skills for data analysis and interpretation of results.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to laboratory techniques and procedures.
