JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support laboratory operations by performing a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth functioning of our research and development activities. This role is essential for maintaining high standards of quality control and compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Setting up CBC machine, performing and maintaining QC, and any maintenance on the machine
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of samples in accordance with established laboratory procedures.
• Conduct experiments and document results while adhering to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and FDA regulations.
• Perform routine quality control checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of data collected.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, ensuring all materials are properly labeled and stored.
• Support Lab by collecting data, conducting testing and assisting with documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to develop new laboratory techniques and improve existing processes.
• Utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) for data entry and management.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

SKILLS

• Strong understanding of GLP, CGMP, and FDA regulations.
• Knowledge of animal physiology, microbiology, histology, molecular biology, and veterinary terminology is highly desirable.
• Experience in clinical or industrial laboratory settings preferred, with familiarity in laboratory procedures and techniques.
• Proficient analytical skills for data collection and interpretation.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations relevant to laboratory tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration within a team environment.
