Job Summary: The Lab Assistant performs phlebotomy procedures on both inpatients and outpatients in a timely manner. Collects blood samples from patients required for the performance of laboratory tests as requested by the physician with the least possible discomfort to the patient. The lab assistant is also responsible for supporting the lab staff with various functions.
