POSITION

To strengthen our Drug Discovery Solutions team in Munich area, in the field of protein production, we are
looking for: biology laboratory assistants (m/f/d), technical assistants (m/f/d; MTA, BTA, cm, PTA, ATA, LTA),
Bachelor (m/f/d), Master (m/f/d), full-time, to start immediately.

YOUR PROFILE:

We are looking for motivated employees with a scientific education (biology/chemistry laboratory technicians
(m/f/d), technical assistants (m/f/d; MTA, BTA, cm, PTA, ATA, LTA); Bachelor (m/f/d), Master (m/f/d)

chemistry/biology/biotechnology) or comparable practical qualification.

  • Good theoretical understanding or hands-on experience in the field of protein expression.
  • Experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, biotechnology or a comparable position.
  • Good knowledge of the gene-to-protein processes.
  • Routine handling of common IT applications (MS Office, databases, internet applications, etc.)
  • Fluent spoken and written English and German.
  • Self-motivation and ability to identify and solve problems independently.
  • Careful, independent and autonomous, structured, reliable and responsible way of working.
  • Enjoy working in an international working environment.
Responsibilities

If you enjoy working hands-on in a team on scientific projects, then this is the right position for you. Your tasks

will include:

  • Expression of recombinant proteins produced in bacterial, insect und mammalian cells, using

given protocols.

  • Application of various purification techniques (cell lysis, centrifugation, DNA purification).
  • Application of various advanced protein chemistry techniques.
  • Protein analysis in quality control (SDS-Page, Western blot, fluorescence spectroscopy).
  • Documentation.
