All that we’re missing is you. Apply today! About the role This position is an entry level. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Industrial/Waste Lab Assistant to join our team. The Industrial/Waste Lab Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting laboratory operations and conducting analyses and testing of industrial waste materials to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for various tasks, including sample preparation, analysis, and reporting of results. Responsibilities: Prepare and analyze samples according to established protocols and procedures. Calculate and report analytical results accurately and in a timely manner. Participate in general lab housekeeping, including sample sorting and disposal. Clean glassware to meet appropriate analytical cleanliness standards. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas used during the workday. Adhere to the Waste Analysis Plan and Chemical Hygiene Plan. Communicate technical information effectively both orally and in writing. Background in instrumentation with proficiency in GC, ICP, and Calorimeter. Perform additional job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma or equivalency. Previous relevant industrial waste laboratory experience desired but not required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of the waste industry is preferred. Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently. High attention to detail and accuracy in work. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite or similar software. Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by Reworld management as required by the business. Physical Requirements: Be able to climb stairs Be able to stand and work on your feet for the majority of your shift (less breaks) Must be able to lift 50lbs Some lab sites are required to work outside and collect samples from the tank trailers. Climbing ladders to collect samples to bring to the lab for testing. The proper safety equipment will be provided for your safety and health protocols. Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future. The pay range for the primary location of this position is: $39,200.00 - $52,100.00 USD. For hourly roles, this is the annualized salary. To calculate the hourly rate, divide by 2080.
