Glascoed Laboratory Team: This vacancy is for a Lab QA Chemist within BAE Systems Land UK at Glascoed, near Usk in South Wales. The key responsibilities will be carrying out analytical testing of materials to support manufacturing and development activities on site and ensure the testing is undertaken in line with laboratory procedures and meets customer delivery requirements. The Lab Chemists have to liaise with on-site customers and would report to the Laboratory Manager. The work will involve testing explosive and non-explosive materials to support various projects and will involve a variety of chemical and physical analytical methods, including wet chemistry and instrumented techniques.
