Job Description Support efficient laboratory operations in a dynamic bioprocess development cell sciences laboratory. Maintain laboratory safety guidelines and work with EHS to implement and manage safety processes, trainings, and procedures Schedule calibration and preventive maintenance services on all laboratory equipment including, but not limited to, incubators, biosafety cabinets, bioreactor systems, and analytical instruments. Order and maintain inventory of common lab supplies, raw materials, disinfectants, and equipment, including monitoring use to maintain continuous supply and proper storage Generate and review laboratory documentation such as equipment logs, safety data sheets, SOPs, methods, and equipment records Organize and manage common resources such as freezers and cold rooms Act as a single point of contact for resolving laboratory and facility related issues in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines. Communicate effectively with leadership and client staff members Assist in preparation and clean-up of experiments Assist in maintaining laboratory in a clean, orderly, and compliant state Leadership Responsibilities: Supports and monitors the performance of the team of employees May participate in new hire interviews Supports the on-boarding process of new employees Disseminate administrative communications Demonstrate and promote the company's vision Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations Ensure coverage and performance for all shifts, and work duties Performs administrative tasks for team member growth and development Adeptly balance technical lab work with leadership responsibilities Foster morale and teamwork Qualifications The Ideal Candidate would possess: Experience working in a biologics laboratory Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills Project management skills Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies Work with internal and external stakeholders and vendors to ensure optimal use and resourcing of laboratory facilities Ability to develop and maintain effective and trusting relationships with customers and colleagues. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry or equivalent experience At least 4 years of industry experience, including supporting laboratory operational tasks Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship Additional Information Position is Full Time, Monday – Friday First Shift.
