Description

abra R&D is looking for a Lab DevOps Engineer! Key Responsibilities: Build, manage, and maintain complex test environments that simulate real customer deployments, including servers, networking equipment, and hardware components. Administer and support virtualized environments using VMware ESXi, including provisioning and management of virtual machines and lab infrastructure. Execute network traffic simulations and end-to-end validation testing using IXIA traffic generation and PCAP replay tools. Perform remote server provisioning, operating system installations, and infrastructure management using KVM, iDRAC, and iLO technologies. Collaborate closely with Development, QA, and Integration teams to troubleshoot infrastructure issues, optimize lab environments, and ensure reliable testing operations. Requirements Must Have: 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Infrastructure, or Systems Administration role. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipeline design and implementation. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates. Experience supporting hardware, networking, and virtualized lab environments, including KVM, iDRAC, or iLO. Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar technologies. Experience administering both Windows and Linux environments, with solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, Routing, Firewalls). Nice to have: Experience with VMware ESXi and virtual machine management. Experience with IXIA traffic generation, PCAP replay tools, or integration/validation testing labs

Responsibilities

Build and maintain complex test environments simulating customer deployments using virtualized infrastructure and hardware components. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot infrastructure and execute network traffic simulations for validation testing.
