Hiring Unit:
Department of Biology (Professor Monique Zetka)

Position Summary:

• Pours agar plates for worms and bacterial cultures;
• Autoclaves solutions and waste;
• Prepares buffers for molecular biology;
• Maintains lab work area in a clean and orderly fashion

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

• Good time management;
• Highly organized;
• Knowledge of basic sterile techniques

Experience and education:

• BSc an asset
• Must be enrolled and eligible in the Work Study Program, McGill University
