Hiring Unit:
Department of Biology (Professor Monique Zetka)

Position Summary:

• Makes media for nematode cultures.
• Cleans glassware and restocks consumables such as pipet tips.
• Maintains lab work area in a clean and orderly fashion.

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

• Punctual, reliable and responsible.
• Good time management skills.
• Knowledge of basic sterile techniques.
• Must be approved in the Work Study Program, McGill University.

Education/Experience:

• Science undergraduate student.

Location: This position is located in Montreal, Quebec and the work for this position is expected to be performed in Quebec.
Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level # (4) qualifier on a scale of 0-4.
Minimum Education and Experience:
High School Diploma Minimal or No Related Experience
