Hiring Unit:
Lyman Museum - Supervisor: Stéphanie Boucher
Position Summary:
The successful candidate will assist with various tasks related to the insect collection of the Lyman Museum, including conducting an inventory of entomological materials, mounting and repairing insect specimens, labeling insects, labelling and organizing insect drawers, ordering necessary supplies and materials; cleaning laboratories and workspaces, and classifying and organizing books and reference materials.
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities
The successful candidate will have experience working in an entomology lab, be familiar with entomological equipment and techniques, have strong organizational skills, pay close attention to detail, and be able to work independently.
