ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES The Lab Helper B will be responsible for basic data entry for keeping logs and using dispense computer. Will also be responsible for filing and setting up formulas to run. Will be required to take some phone calls. Will handle dyes and chemicals and keep them stocked and labeled in the lab. Use of forklift. Housekeeping. Other duties needed to maintain department production levels. EXPERIENCE OR REQUIREMENTS * Basic reading skills to read and understand numerical and alphabetical lot numbers. * Lab Helper B experience preferred. * Communication skills to read understand and discuss (in English). * Knowledge of greige goods. * Lab dispenser working experience. * Basic knowledge on Dye & Chemicals usages in production. * Lab equipment (beaker table & micro becks) knowledge. * Must have forklift certification or pass certification test prior to accepting job. * Ability to work overtime as needed, including weekends. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES Frequent: Handle, manual dexterity, lift 15-20 lbs., reach, stand, stoop, and walk. Use personal protective equipment. Occasional: Balance, climb, crawl, crouch, grasp, hear, kneel, and speak. Required: Close vision, color and depth perception. ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS General warehouse environment. Background noise, dirt, oil, humidity, temperature variations. Works near moving mechanical parts.
