The Professor Ignea Lab at the Department of Bioengineering is seeking a dedicated and motivated Part-Time Lab Helper (B) to support research activities in their dynamic lab environment.

Position Summary

• Sterilization of glassware and consumables (autoclaving)
• Glassware washing
• Maintain readiness of consumables for use and sterilization (tips filling…)
• Maintain lab work areas clean and orderly
• Assist - on occasion- in preparing samples for testing with a multitude of lab equipment

Skills and Qualifications

• High School diploma
• One year of laboratory experience is required
• Good knowledge of Lab safety

Expected start date: August 25 2025
Expected end date: Feb 25 2026
Number of hours per week: 10h (schedule to be set with supervisor)
Hourly rate 18$
