Hiring Unit:
Department of Physiology

Primary responsibilities

  • Clean microscope lenses once a month, every 1-2 weeks for high frequency microscopes.
  • Keep microscope rooms clean.
  • Properly dispose of technical wastes to Waste Management per regulations.
  • Replace and restock gas canisters as needed.
  • Replace supplies in microscope room-soap, gas canisters, lens cleaning kits, lens paper, gloves, lightbulbs.
  • Keep storage room organized and ready with free space.
  • Keep list of publications coming out of the facility up to date.
  • Incubator deep cleaning/Autoclave every 3 months, replace water in incubators once a week
