Hiring Unit:
Department of Biology (Professor Sarah Woolley)

Position Summary:

• Assists with performing histology and microscopy for neuroscience experiments.
• Assists with performing behavioral experiments and analysis.
• Assists in organizing and updating records for animal care and breeding.
• General lab maintenance.

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

• Works well as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Attentive to details.
• Must be enrolled in the McGill University Work Study Program.

Education/Experience:

• Experience or interest in working with live animals
• Interest in neuroscience and behavior research a plus.

Location: This position is located in Montreal, Quebec and the work for this position is expected to be performed in Quebec.
Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level # (3) qualifier on a scale of 0-4.
Minimum Education and Experience:
High School Diploma 1 Year Related Experience
