The Position

The position is located in the Lead Identification Department, within the Discovery unit of the pRED’s Large Molecules Research, where the discovery of next generation biotherapeutics is the primary focus. We closely collaborate with therapeutic areas and other functions to convert therapeutic hypotheses into innovative therapeutics.

Responsibilities
  • You hold a Ph.D.-level degree in Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related field
  • You have at least 3 years hands-on laboratory experience in single cell technologies including droplet-based microfluidic systems and next-generation sequencing (NGS) for high throughput screening of antibodies in an industrial setting
  • Proficiency in advanced high-throughput screening techniques, including both biochemical and cell-based assays (e.g., ELISA, reporter gene assays) utilizing automated systems are your strengths
  • IT skills (MS Office, basic understanding of NGS sequence analysis, data handling of big data sets) are part of your skillset
  • You are able to accurately record and efficiently communicate scientific data and ideas in English (knowledge of the German language is not mandatory
