MGS has an exciting opportunity for a Lab Supervisor to join our MGS RichfieldManufacturing team.
As a Lab Supervisor at MGS, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day Quality Control activities at MGS Richfield, including in-process monitoring, control of non-conforming materials and associated records, operator feedback, and sort/rework activities.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise the Quality Inspectors to ensure that production inspections are being completed within the shift.
  • Supervise the Quality Technicians to ensure that CMM and OGP use is maximized.
  • Supervise the Quality Auditors to ensure that daily verification activities are completed.
  • Manage sort/rework priorities and workflow to minimize negative customer impact.
  • Supervise the sort/rework area and employees to ensure that non-conforming product is properly identified and segregated, rework instructions are properly executed, and product is properly released and/or scrapped.
  • Lead the Material Review Board (MRB) to obtain product disposition and rework instructions, participate in and approve risk assessments of rework activities.
  • Provide feedback and maintain evidence of notification to employees involved in the creation of product that enters the NCM (quality hold, customer complaints, scrap, etc.) system.
  • Review and approve rework batch records and finalize NCM & containment documentation.
  • Recommend corrections, updates, and improvements to existing quality or production standards/methods to improve quality/cost effectiveness.
  • Train, develop, motivate and monitor Quality Auditors, Quality Inspectors, Quality Technicians, and rework personnel working on all shifts.
  • Responsible for setting expectations, monitoring activities, and evaluating performance of the Quality Auditors, Quality Inspectors, Quality Technicians, and rework personnel on all shifts.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
