Job Details Job Location: Omaha, NE 68107 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: Associate's Degree (Two-Year Degree) Job Category: Lab Full-Time Position | M-F 8 am - 5 pm | 30th & L Location The Lab Supervisor is a member of the clinic healthcare team and works to provide timely and accurate phlebotomy services and waived POCT for the organization. The Lab Supervisor also provides oversight for radiology, ultrasound, and biomedical equipment maintenance and repair. The Lab Supervisor is responsible for maintaining POCT equipment, supplies, records, and procedures in accordance with OSHA, CLIA, and other applicable standards. The Lab Supervisor is also expected to work with other departments to improve the quality and efficiency of ancillary services. Qualifications Associate’s degree in medical Lab Technology, Phlebotomy, or related field preferred Certified Phlebotomist by a recognized certification body required. CPR/BLS certification required within three months of hire. Proficiency in both English and Spanish required. Five or more years of phlebotomy experience required, exhibiting competence with patients of all ages from infancy throughout the lifespan. One or more years of supervisory experience preferred. Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office products, required. Previous experience with an Electronic Health Record preferred. Highly organized with the ability to take charge, lead diverse teams effectively, and work independently. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Demonstrated ability to relate to both staff and patients with warmth, compassion, and respect.
