Cambridge Cardiac Care Centre is a full-service non-invasive cardiology Centre focused on prevention of cardiovascular illnesses, early & accurate diagnosis of cardiovascular risk & disease, as well as thorough & complete cardiovascular therapy & rehabilitation. Responsibilities

Clinical proficiency with peripheral IV initiation/perform I.V. starts and venipuncture. At least two (2) year of recent related experience with peripheral intravenous (IV) initiation and central venous catheter management, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Conducts patient health assessments and medication administration teaching.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families/care givers, the public, medical staff and members of the inter-professional care team using verbal, written and electronic communication means.
Ability to teach and instruct patients and families/care givers about topics essential to their health care and well-being.
Ability to organize and prioritize work.
Filing of Clinical Research documents.
Ability to collaborate with and promote cooperation among members of the inter-professional care team.
Ability to operate related equipment including relevant computer applications.
Responsibilities in Clinical Trials, filing, data reconciliation and quality improvement activities by identifying patient care issues, collecting data, and identifying needs and recommendations for corrective action and changes to practices, procedures or protocols
Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
Currently certified IV technician and available to work in Ontario
Current BCLS CPR in Health care provider
All applicants must provide proof of full vaccination against Covid-19 (in the form of watermark receipts from the provincial portal).
Reporting to the Team Lead/ Office Supervisor and/or Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for comprehensive nursing care in the Rehabilitation program
Education Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited lab tech College
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
Ability to think critically, solve situations based on protocols and algorithms
