Description Laboratory Technician Monday-Thursday 7am to 5:30 pm Safety Sensitive Position We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Laboratory Technician to lead our laboratory team and ensure the delivery of accurate, timely, and high-quality testing services. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee daily laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards - Supervise and mentor laboratory staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment - Develop, implement, and review laboratory procedures and protocols to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency - Manage laboratory resources, including equipment, supplies, and staffing, to optimize workflow - Ensure timely and accurate processing of tests and reporting of results - Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to support research, diagnostics, or quality assurance initiatives - Maintain detailed documentation and records in accordance with regulatory requirements - Stay current with advancements in laboratory technology and methodologies, recommending updates as appropriate - Participate in audits, inspections, and accreditation processes -This position will perform all QC, Co-ag and Hematology Join our innovative team committed to excellence and continuous growth. Requirements Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred - Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist or equivalent credential - Proven experience in a laboratory leadership or supervisory role - Extensive knowledge of laboratory procedures, instrumentation, and quality control - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and team management abilities - Familiarity with regulatory standards such as CLIA, CAP, or ISO 15189 - Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry best practices
