Description Laboratory Technician Monday-Thursday 7am to 5:30 pm Safety Sensitive Position We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Laboratory Technician to lead our laboratory team and ensure the delivery of accurate, timely, and high-quality testing services. This leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our organization’s commitment to excellence in diagnostic and research activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent management skills, and a dedication to continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee daily laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards - Supervise and mentor laboratory staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment - Develop, implement, and review laboratory procedures and protocols to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency - Manage laboratory resources, including equipment, supplies, and staffing, to optimize workflow - Ensure timely and accurate processing of tests and reporting of results - Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to support research, diagnostics, or quality assurance initiatives - Maintain detailed documentation and records in accordance with regulatory requirements - Stay current with advancements in laboratory technology and methodologies, recommending updates as appropriate - Participate in audits, inspections, and accreditation processes -This position will perform all QC, Co-ag and Hematology Join our innovative team committed to excellence and continuous growth. Requirements Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred - Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist or equivalent credential - Proven experience in a laboratory leadership or supervisory role - Extensive knowledge of laboratory procedures, instrumentation, and quality control - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and team management abilities - Familiarity with regulatory standards such as CLIA, CAP, or ISO 15189 - Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry best practices
