WHAT YOU WILL DO
Under the general supervision of Quality Engineer / Quality Manager, person in this position provides metallurgical laboratory services to meet the needs of the lab
Ensures to follow provided instructions for sample preparation, analysis, metallurgical testing and reporting.
Uses metal slicing saw machines, ovens, sample mounting, metal polishers, use of microscopes, etc.
Reads procedures, blueprints, sample layouts and prepares reports as needed
Manages smooth flow of the lab testing.
Assists Lab Technicians
Ensures company policies and procedures are complied with and understood.
Maintains a clean and organized workplace
This is a 1st shift , Monday -Thursday, 5:00am-3:30pm
