Winchester is where potential transforms into purpose, and every team member plays a vital role in shaping our shared success.   Position Summary: The Lab Technician on the first shift (8:00 am - 4:30 pm) provides quality inspection support in a cable manufacturing environment to ensure product conformity and compliance with the company’s quality management system and business strategy. This role represents Quality as a cross-functional team member, supporting incoming and manufacturing inspections, including First Article Inspection (FAI), start-up inspections, and in-process audits. This position applies quality principles, methods, and techniques to verify product conformance and support continuous improvement.   Qualifications & Requirements:   * Background in QA or Manufacturing experience  * Demonstrate strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and adaptability to new technologies * Lean manufacturing principles, practices and techniques including 5S and Kaizen events * Basic mathematical knowledge required  * Perform and document start-up, First Article, in-process, final, and electrical inspections * Verify product conformance using inspection tools, measurement devices, and electrical test equipment * Generate non conformance reports and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues * Support Engineering and R&D testing activities as needed * Mentor production employees on quality practices and standards * Conduct Manufacturing Process Audits   Our core values - Accountability, Collaboration, and Empowerment (ACE) - are the foundation of how we operate and drive success.
