Description Dyne Fire Protection Labs is seeking a 2nd shift laboratory technician to be responsible for testing and reporting results on primarily fire sprinklers. This job will consist of a variety of duties throughout the week, rotating between testing within the foam and fire sprinkler labs. The laboratory technician may also occasionally be asked to complete various internal research tasks either on their own or in a group. • Perform routine analytical laboratory tests in accordance with the published test procedures • Assist with various laboratory administrative duties • Complete internal research as requested • Assist with other duties as communicated by supervisor and rotate among multiple workstations Requirements • Understanding of basic chemical concepts and properties • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Comfortable with numerical analysis • Ability to follow instructions with an attention to detail • Ability to work well and coordinate with team members in a laboratory setting • Ability to work on their feet for up to 7 hours per day • Comfortable with repetitive tasks and projects • Willingness to follow ISO 9001 and 17025 standards • Bachelor’s degree in a science major or previous laboratory technician experience • Full time; Day shift; Monday to Friday • High school or equivalent (Required) • Laboratory Experience: 1 year (Preferred) Job Type: Full-time Hours: 4:00pm – 12:00am Monday – Friday Pay: $23.00 per hour
