Join us.   ATI is currently seeking a Lab Technician (6) for Metallography Evaluation in our Monroe, NC facility. This position is a crucial step as the technician will be evaluating samples throughout the day by microscope to meet industry standards, making sure all materials are compliant before delivery to the customer. As a lab technician, you will be evaluating metallographic samples under a microscope against industry standards and company specifications, entering results into the computer, and releasing final results for certification. A successful lab technician should show attention to detail, be self-motivated, be quality-oriented, have good communication skills, and work well within a team.     Additional Responsibilities: * Schedule and prioritize samples * Troubleshoot problems * Engage in activities that promote growth in knowledge necessary to perform essential tasks * Assist in routine Laboratory operations and/or perform other work as directed * Maintain work areas in a clean orderly condition   Qualifications Preferred Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED * At least one (1) year of manufacturing experience * Previous experience in quality assurance is a plus Skills: * Basic math skills * Basic computer skills * Ability to read and follow written procedures * Required to pass In-dept vision screening   We thrive when the expectations are great, and the barriers are high.
