To support R&D prototype builds, validation testing, we need a lab Technician to ensure efficient product development execution within the Suzhou R&D Center. Position Summary: Support hardware product development by enabling efficient prototype builds, structured validation testing, and disciplined laboratory operations within the Suzhou R&D. This role ensures engineering activities are executed with accuracy, traceability, and operational readiness, contributing directly to development speed, data reliability, and product robustness. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: In this role you will: * Support prototype assembly and debugging, for electronic, mechanical, optical systems and prototypes using hand tools and measuring instruments. * Set up and operate test equipment to execute validation and verification plans to evaluate performance * Maintain lab equipment, calibration records, and lab safety / organization standards * Support EMC and environmental pre-test preparation * Maintain prototype build documentation and BOM records * Assist failure analysis and root cause investigation * Build, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair basic lab fixtures and test equipment when needed * Support soldering / de-soldering, instrument assembly, and rework tasks as required   Experience & Qualification You have: * 2+ years of experience in testing, prototype, or lab technician work * Technical diploma or degree in engineering-related field, Electronic Engineering Technology or equivalent is preferred * Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. * Hands-on experience with machine setup and debugging is a strong plus * Able to identify problems and record them honestly * Proficient in using various power tools * Hands-on experience in hardware lab environment * Familiarity with instrument assembly and testing and welding * Familiarity with oscilloscopes, DMMs, power supplies, and other common lab equipment is a plus * Experience in instrument or equipment installation, maintenance, or servicing preferred * Able to identify problems, record results accurately, and support disciplined documentation * Familiar with documentation and organizational skills * Knowledge of printed circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, applications and programming is a plus. * Team-oriented and detail-focused
