Description
To plan and execute experiments in the HMO preclinical team such as, but not limited to: - Ex vivo fermentations - DNA extractions - Library preparation and sequencing - Preparation and differentiation of primary cells - Cytokine analysis, TEER measurements, and other cellular assays Draft accurate protocols and ensure good laboratory practices and FAIR data management are implemented and adhered to. Accurately record and report results to the HMO preclinical team members, as well as local stakeholders and internal partners. Laboratory maintenance, managing inventories related to the HMO preclinical activities e.g., inventory of chemicals, maintenance of equipment etc. Support in drafting SOPs, job safety analysis, and risk assessments, as well as support in laboratory training. Keep the workplace tidy and operate according to quality, environment, safety and health procedures and instructions. You bring The position requires an education as a laboratory technician or bioanalytical technician with a minimum of 5+ years of experience. Experience within sterile work, good laboratory practices, lab maintenance and management, understanding of microbiology and cell biology. Dynamic highly flexible personality capable of independently planning and executing work. Strong knowledge of good laboratory practices and relevant technical expertise within microbiology and cell biology to solve laboratory tasks and challenges. Open and communicative with a strong collaborative mindset. Hands-on approach with a drive for diverse tasks.
