1. Laboratory technician should have a relevant college diploma and a minimum of 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a microbiology laboratory.
2. Responsible for sample log in and preparation of samples (food, water, cosmetic and samples for USP testing) for microbiological analysis.
3. Experience in sample plating, water testing, pathogen transfers, streaking and confirmatory tests as per designated microbiological methods.
4. Perform USP testing as per USP microbiological test methods.
5. Experience in performing analysis of samples using BAX (PCR), VIDAS and ELISA methods will be asset.
6. Media, reagent preparation and quality control.
7. Willing to work late hours and on weekends depending upon workload or as required.
8. Should be flexible, detail orientated and eager to learn new techniques.
9. Perform necessary house keeping duties in a timely manner.
   Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
   Pay: $35,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
