Application Process: We invite you to apply for the Lab Technician I position. This position requires use of information and data which is subject to US Export Regulations, including but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), 22 C.F.R. 120 et seq., and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), 15 C.F.R. 730 et seq. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S Government. Minimum Qualifications U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Card Holder Must pass all pre and post hire background checks Must pass preemployment and subsequent drug screenings Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language Advanced use of math skills (addition, subtraction, fraction, decimals, multiplication and division) Must be 18 years of age Maintain Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives “Employee Possessor” eligibility Additional Education: Must have minimum of 1 semester college level physical science and math and/or 2 years Chemistry Lab work experience. Must be able to work in an environment containing devices that may interfere with the operation of a pacemaker Ability to pass a respirator fit test within 30 days Ability to obtain confined space certification within 30 days of employment Ability to obtain forklift operator certification via Valor’s within 60 days of employment Physical Requirements RARE (less than 10%): crawling, climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs., push, pull, climb stairs OCCASIONAL (up to 33%): standing, stooping, kneeling, squatting, body-twisting, sense of touch, manual dexterity, lifting over 10 lbs. to 50 lbs., reaching, range-of-motion, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, climbing stairs, balancing. FREQUENT (up to 66%): walking, sitting, reading, lifting up to 10 lbs., gripping CONTINUOUS (up to 100%): speaking clearly, seeing, hearing-speech-range, depth-perception. This position works Monday - Thursday, 5 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. This position will remain posted through noon on April 4, 2026. Role will be closed sooner if successfully filled.
