To learn more, please visit our company website: https://mckinneysl.com/ Position Overview: The Toxicology Laboratory Technician performs tasks to meet the expectations of our clients by efficiently and profitably generating defensible data on time. A Lab Tech I will perform procedures under the direction of a trained manager with frequent supervision. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare samples (extractions) for analysis and/or shipment Maintain organized records of sample preparation and analysis Prepare reagents for lab use Provide preparation and support work for routinely conducted assays on client samples, including media preparation and secondary testing Clean laboratory glassware Maintain clean laboratory areas Demonstrate the ability to learn and perform method(s) efficiently Routinely meet QA/QC requirements Assist Group Leaders and analysts in acquiring and inventorying consumables, chemicals, and instrumentation parts Comply with the MSL Quality Assurance Program and other policies Comply with the MSL Health and Safety Plan Perform other duties as assigned by senior management Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily.
