Job Title: Lab Technician
Pay Rate: $22/Hr
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Rocky Hill, CT
Shift: 8 AM - 5 PM

The candidate will be expected to perform the following functions with a high level of initiative and independence:

• Dispensing adhesives, Bonding parts, Testing bond strength & physical properties - Evaluating, collecting, and recording data.
• Participate in organizing and performing experiments using established procedures while summarising and reporting results in a laboratory notebook.
• Computer data entry, including charts and tables, for the communication of project results and details.
• Operate laboratory equipment and measuring devices.
• With guidance, the candidate will be expected to follow safety protocols and lab best practices while working with chemicals and lab equipment.
• With guidance, the candidate will be expected to follow quality protocols according to SOPs and ISO 17025:2017.
• The ability to stand while working in the laboratory throughout most of the day, and the ability to lift at least fifty pounds.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A candidate should be a fast learner, a team player, and have good note-taking and communication skills.
• The position involves repetitive movements with hands, attention to detail, and being safety-conscious.
• Mechanical aptitude is a plus, along with good report-writing skills and Microsoft 365 experience.
• Other attributes will include proficiency in project management, critical thinking, problem-solving, and handling adhesives and other chemicals.

  Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
