Description CMT Lab Technician Intern – Part time JOB DESCRIPTION: Learn and perform soil and concrete laboratory testing. Learn from and assist the Laboratory Team and work closely with the CMT Field Technicians. Team Members: Support the growth of our employees and their families – personally, professionally, financially, etc. Buildings: Help our clients build more efficiently, correctly World: Using our time, resources, and finances to positively impact the world around us SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE – This Role: Perform concrete and laboratory testing: Ensure all lab work (soils, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, etc.) is completed within test specific completion goals. Meet specific requests of engineers and other managers to meet clients’ needs Maintain general lab cleanliness/care Maintain a trust/positive relationship with the techs that you can help them be successful in providing appropriately timely results Build understanding of why and when certain tests are performed Assistance in how to track their equipment calibrations, and how to perform basic checks Qualifications: Must be a currently enrolled student in construction management. Job Type: Part-time, Monday through Friday. Hours are flexible and may vary based on workload and academic schedule, open to weekends, as needed.
