Job description
Signature Supplements Inc. is currently seeking a Lab Technician to compound Natural Health Products. This person is responsible to produce finished products by blending powders and encapsulating compounded natural health materials.

REQUIREMENTS/ATTRIBUTES:

  • Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment considered an asset
  • Must be able to work 8-hour shifts
  • Good hand-eye coordination
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Patience and strong focus on attention to detail to meet quality standards
  • Standing for long periods of time and lifting required (up to 30 lbs)
    This is a full time (40 hours/week) 12 month contract position (Possibility of extension) with hours scheduled during business operations, Monday – Friday, from 6:30 am – 11 pm. Employee benefits include two (2) weeks vacation per year along with four (4) personal days, a health plan.

  • Detailed record keeping on worksheets and maintaining a project notebook
  • Blend and compound powdered raw materials
  • Handle encapsulation equipment to compound materials into capsules
  • Bottle finished projects including powders and capsules
  • Work within planned production schedules
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures to ensure quality standards are followed
  • Maintain a high standard of sanitation
